Senior Occupational Therapist
Lauren Perry has practiced as an occupational therapist since 2012. Her passion for working with children drew her into the occupational therapy field. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Occupational Therapy degrees from Quinnipiac University and was first introduced to the Project CHILLD family as a fieldwork student. After graduating, Lauren began her professional OT career as a traveling therapist, gaining extensive experience in geriatric, psychiatric, acute hospital, rehabilitative, pediatric and school-based settings. She rejoined the Project CHILLD team in 2016, bringing her eclectic skill set and passion for helping children thrive.
In addition to creating play-based, sensory-rich, gross and fine motor therapy experiences, Lauren is a skilled feeding therapist. She has completed The Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding (SOS) course and enjoys working directly with clients as well as with their caregivers. She serves as a senior occupational therapist and mentor to Project CHILLD students and staff.
