Kathy Barton, MS OTR/L received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy through Tufts University.  She also has her K-9 training certificate, having worked with a police department in Arizona as well as a child who has K-9 assistance.  For the past 9 years, Kathy has worked with children in a variety of settings.  She has been an OT in both public schools and private clinic settings.  Early in her career, she was a Research Assistant through Arizona State University on a project that explored the benefits of Secretin as a treatment for symptoms associated with autism.  Kathy has also volunteered as a Girl Scout leader and as a technology assistant in a public school setting.  She has a love for animals, which inspired her to work with children involved in therapeutic horseback riding.  Kathy believes in the healing benefits of animals, caring for three dogs of her own.
