Christine King, COTA/L, has been working with children and their families for the 23 years. She has worked as a COTA/L for the past 10 years, providing O.T. services in a public school setting before joining the team at Project CHILLD 3 years ago. Prior to her career in occupational therapy, Christine had a successful career in human services. She worked in a variety of community-based programs as a staff supervisor, advocate and counselor. Christine provided crisis intervention services, ran social skills groups, and worked with the Department of Social Services and the Department of Mental Health. She also played a key role in the development and opening of an adolescent assessment center for Northeastern Family Institute, of which she became the Assistant Director. She has been a foster care parent, is trained in level I Reiki, is a T.L.P. provider and is a co-creator of Project Cruise Control, an intensive group program based on "The Alert Program: How does Your Engine Run?"
